We specialize in supporting parents and athletes from youth sports to the collegiate level. If you’re committed to improvement, then Empower My Athlete is your solution.
Sessions with parents vary based on your unique needs, but common topics include: cultivating the relationship between parent and athlete, introducing your athlete to sport psychology, reinforcing healthy values, developing mental resilience, maintaining constructive lines of communication, managing sport/life balance, and how to support your athlete to grow up to become well-adjusted and independent.
If you answer yes to any of these questions, a Mental Performance Coach is a perfect solution: Does your athlete have trouble staying focused during competition? Do they experience performance anxiety? Do they lack self-belief? Do they perform better in practice than in competition? Are they looking for a competitive edge? Have they lost confidence or motivation after an injury?
CMPC®s are individuals with a master’s or doctoral degree in sport science or psychology who have met specific course requirements and have completed an extensive, mentored applied experience. This designation is administered by the Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP).
Only licensed mental health practitioners, such as clinical or counseling psychologists, can provide treatment for mental health conditions, such as depression, anxiety, substance use, and eating disorders. Requirements for providing psychological services are determined by individual state and provincial licensing boards. Empower My Athlete does not directly offer mental health services, so any athlete presenting mental health conditions will be referred out to a qualified professional.
Empower My Athlete prides itself on helping parents and athletes reach their highest potential. If you’re not fully satisfied with the services provided, we will gladly provide a refund.
